Improved maintenance in applications with build-up

Some operating processes treat fluids that naturally produce deposits (scales, sludge, precipitates, metal deposits) which can significantly reduce the efficiency of electromagnetic flowmeters, causing plugging and unexpected downtime. Thanks to the patented Heartbeat Technology build-up index from Endress+Hauser, you can monitor these types of build-up within the measuring tube of Proline Promag devices reliably and without interrupting the process.

Increased confidence in sensor integrity

The HBSI (Heartbeat Technology Sensor Integrity) value monitors potential changes in the electromagnetic field strength of Proline Promag devices continuously and reliably. Examples are magnetic interferences in the process (e.g. magnetite) or outside the process (e.g. strong magnetic fields) as well as mechanical defects in the magnetic system, which can affect the magnetic field and may have an influence on the measuring accuracy of the sensor.

Proline Promag flowmeters are able to detect the state of build-up in the measuring tube thanks to the Heartbeat Technology build-up index.
